Which exams can you actually sit?
Qualification, age, category and state decide it, and every notification words it differently. Start with qualification: pick yours and see every exam family whose minimum you meet.
Then check age limits on the exam page
Your highest qualification.
Pick one. The list below updates to the exams whose minimum qualification you meet.
This is qualification only. Age limits, category relaxations, domicile rules and subject requirements also apply. Each exam page in the app shows the qualification and age limits from its notice, with a link to the full notification.
What else decides it.
Four things, and every notification sets them a little differently. Check each one against the official notice before you apply.
Qualification
Class 10 through postgraduate, plus professional degrees: engineering, law, medicine, nursing, teacher training.
Age on the cut-off date
Every notification names a date. Your age is counted on that date, not today, and relaxations apply by category.
State
State PSC and police exams often need domicile, or a pass in the state language.
Category
SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates get relaxations on age, attempts and fees.
