Questions, answered.
Everything people ask before they sign up, and a few things they ask after. If yours is not here, WhatsApp us and a person replies.
The product
No, and that is deliberate. Plenty of coaching institutes and content apps already teach well. TrackMyPrep keeps the part they leave to you: which exams are open, what each one asks for, and which date is closest. It sits alongside whatever you study from.
Yes, as many as you like. Most aspirants sit three or four exams a cycle. Your home screen lists every exam you track, sorted by what happens next. To see how much syllabus two exams share before you commit, use the compare tool.
Pick two or three exams on the compare page and see the subjects each one tests, with the shared ones marked and the topic counts added up. It runs on this website, no sign-in needed.
PrepAI is the study assistant in the app. Ask it to draft a study plan around your hours, explain a concept, compare two exams, or suggest how to approach a mock. It looks up live dates, fees and eligibility from the same exam data as the app, and says so when it cannot find something. It understands Hindi and Hinglish and replies in English. Up to 30 messages a day, free. More about PrepAI.
Home shows a countdown to the next date on every exam you track. For reminders, open Calendar in the app and add your exam dates to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook: every exam you track is included, changed dates update on their own, and your calendar app alerts you if notifications are on for it.
Yes. Pick a subject, such as Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning or Indian Polity, and answer five questions, sixty seconds each, with no negative marking. You see the right answers and a short explanation at the end. Quizzes are free, up to five a day, and your streak counts the days in a row you finish one.
The eligibility page sorts every exam family by minimum qualification. In the app, each exam page shows the qualification and age limits from its notice, and Home shows the open exams that match your age, education, state and interests. Category relaxations and domicile rules vary, so read the official notification, linked on every exam page.
Exams and dates
Every central and state government recruitment that is taking applications and selects through a written, computer based or skill test: UPSC, SSC, banking, railways, defence, teaching, PSUs, judiciary, medical, State PSCs, state boards and police, and more. Walk-in and interview-only posts are left out. Missing one? Request it.
Every morning we collect new and updated recruitment notices from public job listings, read each one, and pull out the dates, fees, eligibility and official links. Exams you track are rechecked daily until the exam date passes. Listings can be late or wrong, so confirm with the official notification, linked on every exam page, before you apply.
The conducting body and post, number of vacancies, key dates (notification, applications open, last date, admit card, exam and result), minimum qualification, age limits, fees by category, a short summary, and links to the official notification, the apply page and the official website.
Cost
Yes. Everything in the app is free: every exam, every date, tracking, countdowns, quizzes (up to 5 a day) and PrepAI (up to 30 messages a day). No card needed. If we add paid features later, we will say so in the app first.
App and account
TrackMyPrep runs in any browser at app.trackmyprep.com, on a phone or a laptop, with nothing to install. On a phone you can add it to your home screen from the browser menu and it opens like an app.
With your Google account, so there is no password to create. Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us, and nothing else from your account. We then ask for your mobile number, age, education and state, so the app can show the exams you can sit.
In the app, go to Profile, then Delete account. Your profile, interests, tracked exams, PrepAI conversations and quiz history are deleted straight away. See the privacy policy.
